Apple AirPods Pro Now Comes With MagSafe-Compatible Wireless Charging Case, Customised Engraving

Apple announced the third-generation AirPods during its Unleashed event last night, but folks aspiring for a newer AirPods Pro model will have to wait till 2022. Apple has silently updated the existing AirPods Pro, though, and including a MagSafe-compatible wireless charging case. The Apple AirPods Pro already had a wireless charging case, but the inbuilt magnets of the MagSafe charging case allow better alignment of the MagSafe or MagSafe Duo charger. Additionally, Apple India offers free engraving in English and seven regional languages, a mix of emojis, text, and numbers for a personalised AirPods Pro case.

The Apple AirPods Pro are very lightweight at just 5.4g each. It comes with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), which suppresses outside noise with the help of three microphones on each earbud. Its Transparency mode lets outside sound filter through if the user needs to interact with other people around. Apple is also supplying three sizes of silicone ear tips to ensure the earbuds fit snugly inside eas to isolate ambient noises. The AirPods Pro has an IPX4 rating for sweat and water splash resistance.

The Apple AirPods Pro feature a custom-built high-excursion and low-distortion driver, which produces powerful bass. It comes with a high dynamic amplifier coupled with an Adaptive EQ feature to enhance its music reproduction. The earbuds are powered by Apple’s H1 custom chip, which promises low latency while gaming on compatible Apple devices.

You can also fire up Siri to control a host of features. Also, the Announce Messages feature enables Siri to read out text messages through the AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro comes with a Lightning to USB-C cable and takes up to 3.5 hours to charge fully. The earbuds with the MagSafe charging case offer a combined battery life of up to 24 hours, and 18 hours of talk time. Standalone earbuds can provide up to 4.5 hours (with ANC On) and up to 5 hours (with ANC Off).
