Apple has added Gaana and JioSaavn music streaming support to its smallest smart speaker ever: HomePod Mini. Music streaming app Gaana now supports hands-free music streaming on HomePod Mini which allows users to stream over 45 million songs across 25 languages. On the other hand, the JioSaavn users can listen to over 60 million tracks across Bollywood, English, Hindi, and Indian regional languages. The Apple HomePod Mini has Siri voice assistant that lets you play music, podcasts, and more from Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Gaana.

Apple’s HomePod Mini smart speaker comes equipped with Apple’s S5 chip that analyses the music to optimize loudness. It also has the ability to adjust the dynamic range and control the movement of the driver and passive radiators in real-time. It offers rich, 360-degree, room-filling audio and can act as an intercom between multiple HomePod Mini in a single home. The HomePod Mini also has smart home capabilities and offers a rich audio experience. It was launched in India in November 2020 with a price tag of ₹9,990.

With the new Gaana and JioSaavan music integration support, you now have the ability to seamlessly access your favourite music tracks and personalised entertainment on HomePod Mini. The Apple HomePod Mini competes with the likes of Amazon’s Alexa-powered Echo speakers and Google Nest smart speakers which offer similar music streaming support.

How To Stream Music From Gaana and JioSaavn On Apple HomePod Mini

To stream music from Gaana and JioSaavn on your HomePod Mini, make sure that your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is updated to iPadOS 14.3 or later. You will need to open the app for your streaming service and go to the app’s settings. You will need to have an active subscription for some streaming services. In the app settings, you will see the ‘Connect with HomePod‘ option. You will need to tap on it to enable music streaming on your HomePod Mini. You can also set default music streaming on HomePod as well. You will need to go to the ‘Home’ app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, and navigate to Settings. You will need to enter your ID, then select Media and Default Service. You can choose between Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Gaana as a default service.
