According to a report published by Display Supply Chain Consultants, Apple is gearing up to introduce a bigger 15-inch MacBook Air model. However, you won’t be able to lay your hands on it soon, as it may launch sometime in 2023.
Display analyst Ross Young provided his insights on what can be expected, saying that Apple could launch the new MacBook Air with a screen size around 15 inches, but not specifically 15 inches. Also, the larger model may share the stage along with the new 13-inch MacBook Air. His report corroborates with the expectations of some other Apple leakers. Young expects these new MacBook Air laptops to go on sale next year in 2023, but refrains from sharing the exact timeline.

But these reports may bring some joy to MacBook lovers as they can enjoy the bigger screen real estate of the 15-inch model, which will certainly uplift the movie-watching experience and gaming.
Talking about this year’s 2022 Apple MacBook Air, it is expected to flaunt revised exteriors. Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the 2022 versions will retain the Apple M1 chip, whereas Gurman’s report states it will get the new Apple M2 chips. The Apple M2 entry-level chip is said to be more powerful than the entry-level M1 chip. Also, only the 13-inch MacBook Air is slated to launch this year.
The new 13-inch MacBook Air with a revamped design and Apple M2 silicon could be unveiled at Apple’s WWDC 2022 (Worldwide Developer’s Conference), which will be held in June 2022.
