Apple MacBook Pro (2021), AirPods 3rd Gen Go On Sale In India

Earlier this month, Apple had unveiled the all-new MacBook Pro (2021) lineup, powered by the company’s in-house M1 Pro and M1 Max processors. During the same event, the company also unveiled the Apple AirPods 3rd Generation. These products were supposed to go on sale in India starting October 26, 2021, across various regions worldwide, including India. However, they didn’t launch as per the schedule and the launch was postponed by a few days. Now, the newly-unveiled Apple MacBook Pro 2021 models and AirPods 3rd Generation are up for grabs in India as well.

Apple MacBook Pro (2021) Specifications, Features, and Price

The Apple MacBook Pro (2021) laptops mark the debut of the mini-LED display technology and the infamous notch on Apple’s laptops. These new laptops feature a Liquid Retina XDR display with up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness, a 10,00,000:1 contrast ratio, and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (which Apple calls ProMotion technology).

The Cupertino-tech giant is offering MacBook Pro (2021) in two different screen sizes: 14.2-inch and 16.2-inch. The 14-inch variant of the MacBook Pro (2021) is powered by Apple’s in-house M1 Pro processor, while the company is using the M1 Pro and M1 Max processors on the 16-inch variant. To those unaware, the M1 Pro and M1 Max processors are built on TMSC’s 5nm N5 fabrication process.

Apple is taking a u-turn and bringing back the HDMI port and SDXC card slot with its 2021 range of MacBook Pros. The MacBook Pro (2021) range also marks the debut of the MagSafe 3 charging technology. The company is also including a 3.5mm audio jack and three Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports that can also be used to charge the laptop. The MacBook Pro (2021) 14.2-inch model with M1 Pro chip is available starting at ₹1,94,900 in India. While MacBook Pro (2021) 16.2-inch model with M1 Pro chip can be purchased starting at ₹2,39,900. However, if you want to purchase the top-of-the-line M1 Max-powered MacBook Pro 16.2-inch model, you will have to shell out a minimum of ₹3,29,900.

Apple AirPods 3 Specifications, Features, and Price

The Apple AirPods 3rd Generation earphones feature an AirPods Pro-like design, which means the stems are now smaller, and the case is a bit broader and shorter. However, Apple is sticking to the half in-ear design on the base AirPods. The AirPods 3 features a high dynamic range amplifier to reproduce powerful bass and also supports Spatial Audio with Dynamic Head Tracking.

The AirPods 3 offers up to 6 hours (5 hours with Spatial audio) of music playback on a single charge. Combined with the case, the AirPods 3 offer up to 30 hours of music playback.
