Apple macOS 12.4 Beta 3
According to a 9to5Mac report, Apple is rolling out the third macOS 12.4 beta to developers and public testers today. The latest beta update comes with build number 21F5063e. macOS 12.4 beta 3 is being rolled out OTA (Over The Air) for developers who had already enrolled in the beta program. The update will be available for download from Apple’s Developer Website soon.

The macOS 12.4 beta 3 brings in the much-expected update to improve the Studio Display webcam. According to Apple, the latest beta update will add refinements to the Studio Display camera tuning, including improved noise reduction, contrast, and framing. Once you’ve installed the developer or public beta, you can update your display by going to System Preferences > Software Update.
Additionally, the macOS 12.4 beta 3 update will introduce new changes and features to the Universal Control feature. For those unaware, Universal Control is a utility that makes it easy to control multiple Apple devices from a single keyboard and mouse/trackpad. The feature was launched back in February this year.
Notably, the first macOS 12.4 beta did not offer much in terms of improvements. However, Apple included a warning that Universal Control functionality will require a Mac to be on the latest beta if an iPad is running the latest iPadOS version. This implies that if you install iPadOS 15.5 beta on your iPad, you must install the macOS 12.4 beta on your Mac to keep Universal Control enabled.
