Meanwhile, past rumours suggested that the upcoming Apple Watch will arrive with a 1.99-inch screen. Similar to the current Apple Watch 7, the standard Apple Watch Series 8 will likely arrive in 41mm and 45mm models with curved displays.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, in his Power On newsletter, reiterates that the new rugged Apple Watch model will arrive with satellite features. He adds that the company has internally discussed adding the functionality to its watches.
The new Apple Watch Pro will see a revamped design, with a rectangular dial instead of a circular face. Additionally, the device is believed to have a longer battery life. Gurman speculates that it could last for many days on a single charge, with the new low-power mode. Furthermore, the smartwatch is rumoured to feature a body temperature sensor.
We will finally get a peek at the new Apple Watch series next week, when the device is unveiled at the Far out event.
