After a long wait of over nine months, Asus India has finally launched the Asus 8Z in the country. The handset was introduced earlier today via an online live-streamed launch event. The 8Z is the company’s top of the line non-gaming offering, featuring a 64MP primary camera, Snapdragon 888 SoC, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Asus 8Z Price In India, Availability
The Asus 8Z has launched in a single storage option in India. The only variant has 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage and is priced at ₹42,999 in India. The smartphone is available in two colour options—Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver. The phone will be sold via Flipkart.com from March 7.

The newly arrived Asus 8Z flaunts a 5.9-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1100nits of peak brightness, a 20:9 aspect ratio and support for HDR10. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with an Adreno 660 GPU. The 8Z is available with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
As for the optics, the handset boasts of a dual-camera setup. There is a 64MP Sony IMX688 primary shooter with an f/1.8 aperture combined with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with macro mode, dual PD autofocus, and f/2.2 aperture. Moreover, it comes with a 12MP Sony IMX663 snapper for selfies and video calls. The smartphone runs Android 11 based ZenUI 8 out of the box.
Powering the Asus 8Z is a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. Other features on the smartphone include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, dual Cirrus Logic CS35L45 amplifier, Dirac HD sound, Hi-Res Audio, Triple microphones with OZO Audio Zoom & ASUS Noise Reduction Technology, and FM Radio. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
