ASUS Android 13 Rollout Schedule Announced For ROG Phone And Zenfone Models

ASUS has finally confirmed the Android 13 rollout schedule for its ASUS Zenfone and ROG phone models. The company had started the Android 13 beta testing program for its ASUS Zenfone 8 smartphone back in May, and the public beta recruitment started in October. ASUS has revealed that the Zenfone 9 series will be the first to receive the Android 13 update in December and the ROG Phone models will start getting the update in Q1 2023.

ASUS Android 13 Rollout Schedule

If you own an ASUS smartphone, the Android 13 stable update will start rolling out from December 2022, but you might have to wait for longer, depending upon your smartphone model. Below is the Android 13 rollout schedule for the ASUS smartphones:

January 2023

• ASUS Zenfone 8
• ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip

Q1 2023

• ROG Phone 6D
• ROG Phone 6D Ultimate
• ROG Phone 6
• ROG Phone 6 Pro

Q2 2023

• ROG Phone 5
• ROG Phone 5 Pro
• ROG Phone 5 Ultimate
• ROG Phone 5s
• ROG Phone 5s Pro

As seen in the timeline schedule above, those using a Zenfone-series smartphone will receive the Android 13 update before most of the ROG Phone device owners. As for the ROG Phone 5 series smartphones, users will have to wait till Q2 2023 to receive the latest update.

Furthermore, ASUS has said that the update will be rolled out gradually and will take time to reach all the devices globally, so for those waiting for Android 13, it is going to require a lot of patience.
