ASUS has launched a new Windows-on-ARM convertible laptop called the ExpertBook B3 Detachable. ASUS claims that the ExpertBook B3 Detachable is the world’s first laptop to feature a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor. The laptop, as the name suggests, has a detachable keyboard, which gives users the option to use the machine with or without the keyboard.
Additionally, it comes with a protective case with a kickstand, which allows you to use the tablet both in portrait and landscape mode. Let us take a closer look at the pricing, specifications, and features of the newly launched ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable and find out what it has in store for users.
ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable Price, Availability
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable pricing starts at $600, which roughly translates to ₹47,600 in India. The laptop is already available for purchase via Best Buy in the U.S.

In terms of specifications, the ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable features a 10.5-inch LCD screen that offers 1,920×1,200 pixel resolution, up to 320 nits of brightness, and a wide colour gamut with 121% sRGB coverage. The laptop is powered by a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. The ExpertBook B3 Detachable is available in three software versions—Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 Home in S Mode, and Windows 11 Pro Education.

The new convertible laptop by ASUS is targeted towards users who work or study remotely and often make use of video calls to interact online. The laptop comes equipped with features such as AI noise-cancelling, noise-reduction for the 5MP front-facing camera, and a handy mute key on the optional keyboard to assist with video calling. For photography, there is a 13MP camera on the back.
The laptop features a keyboard with a unique ErgoLift design that helps keep it at an angle that’s comfortable for typing. The keyboard is spill-resistant and has antibacterial coating. It has 1.5mm key travel and a trackpad. Furthermore, the Asus ExpertWidget will let you create custom keyboard shortcuts using the Fn key and the 1-4 number keys. This will be handy for actions you perform repeatedly throughout the day.
Connectivity features on the ExpertBook B3 Detachable include one USB Type-C port with video out and charging support, one 3.5mm combo audio jack, Wi-Fi 5 (ac, 2×2), and Bluetooth 5.1. The laptop is backed by a 38Wh Li-ion battery, which supports 45W charging via an adapter that comes bundled with the laptop. The machine is reported to run for up to 21 hours on a single charge. The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable also comes with support for a “garaged stylus”, which can be stashed inside the tablet. However, you will need to purchase the stylus separately.
