ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold Specifications, Features
The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold comes with a 17.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560x1920px and an aspect ratio of 4:3 when fully unfolded. The display has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2ms response time, 60 Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits of brightness. Additionally, it covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue-light emissions. ASUS states that you can use it in six modes—Desktop Mode, Tablet Mode, Reader Mode, Laptop Mode with Virtual Keyboard, Laptop Mode with Bluetooth Keyboard, and Extended Mode.
On fully opening the device, you can use it in Tablet Mode. The Zenbook 17 Fold can also work as a monitor by propping it on your desk with the help of the integrated kickstand. You can connect the device to a Bluetooth keyboard to use it in Desktop Mode. The Reader Mode enables you to fold it vertically to use it as a reading device.

You can also use the Zenbook 17 Fold in Laptop Mode with a virtual keyboard, with a 12.5-inch display and 3:2 aspect ratio. If that’s not your jam, you can pair it with the ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad.
Meanwhile, the Extended Mode lets you use the device as a 12.5-inch laptop with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and two 12.5-inch full-size displays. I cannot imagine why someone would use such a mode, since the bottom half of the display offers an odd viewing angle as it rests on the desk.
The laptop is equipped with up to a 12th-gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of NVMe M.2 SSD storage. As for connectivity, it has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. The laptop features a 75Wh battery. ASUS claims that it offers a battery life of up to 9.5 hours in the 12.5-inch Laptop mode and up to 8.5 hours in the 17.3-inch Desktop mode.
Furthermore, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It also comes with four Harman Kardon-certified speakers. The device is equipped with a 5MP webcam, an HD IR camera for a quick face login, and a colour sensor to help adjust the brightness and colour temperature automatically.
