Asus has launched two new laptops in India, the ZenBook Duo 14 and the ZenBook Pro Duo 15. Both of these laptops made their debut at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year. As the name suggests, these laptops feature two screens; one serves as the main display and the other is mounted above the keyboard. The secondary display could come in handy in various tasks and increase the productivity of the user.
The ZenBook Duo 14 is aimed at users who want a thin and light laptop that can get day-to-day tasks done with ease and also desire a long battery life. The ZenBook Pro Duo 15, on the other hand, is aimed at creative professionals and gamers who want a color-accurate screen and powerful hardware.
Asus ZenBook Duo 14 and Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 price in India and availability details
The ZenBook Duo 14 is available in two versions. The first variant has an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB storage, and Iris Xe graphics. It costs Rs 99,990. The second version has an Intel Core i7-1136G7 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and Nvidia MX450 2GB graphics (along with Iris Xe). This model will set you back by Rs 1,40,990.
As for the ZenBook Pro Duo 15, it starts at Rs 2,39,990. However, the brand is yet to provide a list of variants for this laptop and their pricing details.
According to Asus, both the laptops will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Asus Exclusive Stores, and authorized offline retailers.
Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 specifications
The main screen of the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is a 15.6-inch OLED with 4K resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 440 nits brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The secondary display is a massive, 14-inch touchscreen unit with 3840 x 1100 pixels resolution. This one uses an IPS LCD panel.
The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is available with two processor options. You can either choose the 10th generation Intel Core i7-10870H or the more powerful Core i9-10980HK. Apart from the Intel UHD graphics integrated into the processor, the laptop also packs the mighty Nvidia RTX 3070 dedicated GPU which has 8GB GDDR6 video memory. You can get the laptop with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3.0 SSD.
In terms of ports, the ZenBook Pro Duo has two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, one USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a headphone jack. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.0. The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 has an IR camera with Windows Hello login support, Harman Kardon speakers, and MIL-STD 810H certification.
The laptop packs a massive, 92Wh battery and it comes with a 240W charger with a proprietary charging connector. That being said, you can also charge the laptop using USB Type-C ports.
Asus ZenBook Duo 14 specifications
The Asus ZenBook Duo 14 features a 14-inch IPS LCD with Full HD resolution, 400 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB color gamut. This is the main display. The secondary screen is a 12.65-inch IPS LCD with touch functionality and 1920 x 515 pixels resolution.
You get to choose the ZenBook Duo 14 with either the Intel Core i5-1135G7 or the Core 17-1165G7 processors. The Core i5 variant has 8GB of RAM and Iris Xe graphics. Whereas, the Core i7 version comes with 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce MX450 dedicated GPU with 2GB of GDDR6 video memory. Both the models have 512GB PCIe 3.o SSD.
The ZenBook Duo 14 has two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card reader, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.0. There is an IR camera that supports Windows Hello login, Harman Kardon speakers, MIL-STD 810H certification, and support for a stylus.
As for the battery, it is a 70WHr unit with 65W charging. The laptop can be charged using any of the two USB Type-C ports. It does not feature a proprietary charging connector.
