ASUS Zenfone 9 Complete Specifications, Pricing Details Leaked By Norwegian Retailer Listing Ahead Of Launch

The ASUS Zenfone 9 launch event is all set to take place on July 28, 2022. Ahead of the official launch, we have been learning new details about the device, courtesy of several leaks. Previously, the complete specifications and renders were revealed by ASUS itself via a leaked product video. Now, in a recent development, the specifications and pricing details of the device have been revealed by the Norwegian site Elkjøp.

ASUS Zenfone 9 Specifications Leaked Ahead Of Launch

As per the preliminary product listing, the ASUS Zenfone 9 will measure 146.6 x 68.2 x 9.45mm and weigh around 165 grams. The device will sport a 5.92-inch Samsung-made AMOLED display that will have a Full HD+ 1,080 x 2,400px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will come with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The back of the handset will consist of a dual-camera setup. The camera module will include a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with an f1/1.56 aperture. The main camera will also be able to record 8K videos, as per the product listing details. A 12MP ultra-wide camera with an IMX368 sensor will be accompanying the 50MP sensor.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. As per the Elkjøp listing, the Zenfone 9 will debut in three RAM and storage configurations. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the other model will ship with 8GB/16GB of RAM along with 256GB storage respectively. The smartphone will debut in Midnight Black, Starry Blue, Sunset Red and Moonlight White colour options.

The other key features offered by the Zenfone 9 will include IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with a dual PDAF at front, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E (ax), Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GNSS, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 4,300mAh battery. As per the retailer listing, the 30W USB-C charger will be bundled inside the retail package. The device will receive two years of the software update, as per the listing.

The base Asus Zenfone 9 (8GB RAM + 128GB) will cost NOK 8,000 (roughly ₹64,700) as per Elkjøp’s pricing. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM model with 256GB internal storage will retail for NOK 8,800 (roughly ₹71,200), while the top-end variant’s (16GB + 256GB) price might go up to NOK 9,500 (roughly ₹76,900).
