The latest Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW wireless earbuds promise an outstanding battery life, if that’s your priority while looking for a new pair of earphones. Apparently, these new TWS earphones by Audio-Technica are one of the most long-lasting earphones in its lineup.
According to the company, the high capacity battery in the ATH-CKS50TW delivers up to 20 hours of continuous music playback with the ANC(Active Noise Cancellation) feature turned off. With the ANC turned on, they are expected to run up to 15 hours. The charging case takes the battery backup to a total of 50 hours. In comparison, the AirPods Pro provide a combined battery backup of just 24 hours, which is 26 hours lower than these. Audio-Technica says that a quick 10 minutes of charging via the case is enough for up to 90 minutes of audio playback.

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW earbuds promise a comfortable and secure fit for all-day listening. The fit also ensures the ambient noises are suppressed. Improving it further is the noise-cancellation feature that cuts unwanted noises from your surroundings. If you want to have a conversation with someone while listening to music, these earphones lower the volume and allow outside sounds to filter through. Another interesting feature called Sidetone allows you to hear your own voice while on a call to stop you from talking loudly.
The wireless earbuds weigh 15.8 grams and are a bit heavier than Audio-Technica’s own ATH-ANC300TW earphones by 0.8 grams, and 5 grams heavier when compared to the AirPods Pro. They promise to deliver tight bass, owing to the 9mm HD drivers. The earphones pack in Sony’s 360 Reality Audio for spatial surround sound experience, which makes you feel that the sound is being delivered from all directions. The low-latency mode might excite gamers.
Multipoint support enables you to connect these earphones to two devices simultaneously. The earbuds come with JIS/IEC rating, which, according to the company, is similar to the IPX4 rating and would protect them from splashes or sweat. The upgrade to Bluetooth version 5.2 allows for a greater range than the company’s older models.

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW wireless earphones are priced at $218 (approx. ₹16,500). They are available for purchase via Audio-Technica’s official website in select regions. The company hasn’t revealed its plans to launch these earphones in India yet.
