Activision Blizzard announced that a Warcraft mobile game is in the works, and has promised to divulge more details in May. It will be the first Warcraft game specially designed for mobile.
However, John Hight, General Manager of Warcraft, hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming mobile game. In fact, going by the wording, it could not even be the World of Warcraft game, but a spinoff set in the Warcraft universe.

Blizzard Announces Next Expansions For World Of Warcraft And Hearthstone
Blizzard also revealed that the next expansions for World of Warcraft and Hearthstone will be unveiled over the next three months. On March 15, it will share details about the first of three expansions of Hearthstone. Blizzard remains tight lipped regarding the expansion, and says that shortly after that, it will “provide a deeper look into the plans for Hearthstone for 2022—including the annual core set changes”.

On April 19, the development team will reveal the next expansion for World of Warcraft. Blizzard says that it is “excited to show you what we’ve been working on and where your adventures in Azeroth will go next”. Again, fans don’t have much to go on.
Usually, Blizzard reserves such announcements for its annual BlizzCon event, which is “on pause” this year. It could be attributed to the fact that the company is still caught in a legal battle with the State of California over allegations of sexual discrimination and harassment within the company. This caused the delay of the much-awaited Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4.
