boAt Storm Pro Budget Smartwatch Announced: Price, Specifications

The popular boAt Storm smartwatch has been replaced with the boAt Storm Pro, which has been released in India. The watch now has an Always-On Display, a bigger, brighter display, a metal body, and 700 fitness modes. Let’s check out the features and pricing of the new smartwatch.

The boAt Storm Pro smartwatch is available in Active Black, Cool Grey, and Deep Blue colour options, with an initial introductory price of ₹2,999. The watch will be available on sale via boAt’s own website and Flipkart.

The boAt Storm Pro smartwatch sports a large 1.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and 325ppi pixel density. The watch also happens to come with an always-on display to keep users updated at all times. It supports over 700 fitness modes, perhaps the most in a budget smartwatch yet, including strength and cardiovascular activities such as Dance, Cricket, Ballet, Running, Boxing, and many more. Activities like cooking, skateboarding, meditating, playing instruments, gardening, and others can also be tracked using the Storm Pro.

The watch has a built-in 24-hour heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor, sleep tracker, and step counter. It can monitor fitness levels in real-time, breathing, guided meditation mode, and send out sedentary reminders. Users can compete with their friends and family through Fitness Buddies feature. The boAt Storm Pro has a purported battery life of 10 days on a single charge and up to two days with Always on Display. It supports boAt’s ASAP fast charging tech which reportedly fully charges the watch in just 30 minutes.
