boAt has expanded its smartwatches portfolio in India with its Xtend Sport smartwatch. The wearable market in the country has grown exponentially in the last few years and the smartwatches grew by 274 percent in 2021. boAT is a leading wearables manufacturer in India and is looking to extend its lead by adding new products regularly. The boAt Xtend Sport packs in an HD display, 100+ watch faces, call alerts, 700+ fitness modes, and an IP67 rating, among other features.

The boAt Xtend Sport features a square 1.69-inch HD display with a maximum brightness of up to 550 nits. You can play with more than 100 watch faces. The watch displays notifications, alerts, messages, cricket scores, and more. You can even make calls or text from the smartwatch. 

The boAt Xtend Sport smartwatch features a heart rate monitoring system, blood oxygen level (SpO2) sensor, and a pedometer. Staying true to its Sport tag, it includes over 700 fitness modes such as Walking, Running, Jogging, Cricket, Yoga, Aerobics, Dance, Ballet, Swimming, and Boxing, among others. It can also track low to moderate intensity tasks such as Skateboarding, Meditating, Laundry, Cooking, Painting, Playing Instruments, and Gardening. 

You can also share your fitness regime and progress fitness with your friends and family. It allows you to track your friend’s and family members’ health and fitness data via the Wellness Crew Guardians feature.  

A major highlight of the smartwatch is its ability to display live cricket match scores. However, it only includes scores for the Indian national team (Men and Women) T20, ODI, and IPL. Other noteworthy features include an IP67 rating for water/dust resistance rating, camera and music control, all-day heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen levels, hydration alerts, and sleep monitoring. The boAt Xtend Sport is powered by a 200mAh battery, which is reported to last up to seven days on a full charge. boAt’s ASAP charging tech promises to charge it fully in 30 minutes.
