Chromecast with Google TV is expanding to twelve new countries. This comes nearly two years after its debut back in September 2020.

The feature is also rolling out to India, Taiwan, New Zealand, and South Korea.
It will be available in the European markets from June 21 via the Google online store and select retailers. However, a launch date has not been specified for non-European countries such as India, New Zealand, South Korea, and Taiwan. Expect it to be listed on the Google online store sometime in the future.
Chromecast Features
Chromecast with Google TV has a compact design. You can plug it into an HDMI port, thus keeping it out of view behind the TV.
The Google Chromecast supports 4K Dolby Vision at 60 fps and HDR10+ content. Moreover, it comes with Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos support. The device has 8GB storage capacity.
When it comes to connectivity, it supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi ac, and HDMI 2.1. You can operate the device via the Chromecast Voice Remote. It features dedicated buttons which allow you to directly launch YouTube or Netflix.
Additionally, the Voice remote includes a button for the Google Assistant. You can also use the remote to control the volume and input channels.
