ColorOS 12 Rollout Schedule For May 2022 Released

OPPO had introduced its ColorOS 12 based on the Android 12 operating system back in 2021. Majority of its smartphones started receiving the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 in January 2022. Now, the brand has announced the Android update rollout schedule for the month of May 2022. It will be seeding the ColorOS 12 Beta and official versions to select smartphones in India.  

ColorOS 12 Based On Android 12 (Official Version) Timeline

The ColorOS 12 based on the Android 12 OS official version is rolling out to the Find X2, Reno 6 Pro 5G, Reno 6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition, Reno 5 Pro 5G, Reno 4 Pro, F19 Pro+, F19 Pro, F17 Pro, A74 5G, and the A53s 5G. 

The OPPO Reno 7 Pro 5G will get the update from May 10, 2022. The OPPO F19 and the OPPO F19s will receive it from May 24 2022. The OPPO F17 and OPPO Reno 3 Pro will get the update from May 26, 2022. OPPO A53 users will start receiving the update from May 30, 2022. 

ColorOS 12 Based On Android 12 Beta Timeline

The ColorOS 12 based on the Android 12 Beta update will roll out for the OPPO A76 from May 16, 2022. Reno 10x Zoom smartphone users will get the update from May 17, 2022. The Reno 7 5G will receive the update from May 18, 2022. 

It will be a staggered rollout and may take a while to reach your device. For instance, the Reno 7 5G is scheduled to get the update from May 18, which might take even a week to reach some devices. You can keep checking for update notifications on your handset. Eligible devices can be updated manually by navigating to Settings and then by hitting the software update option. Always take a backup of your data before attempting such major OS updates, as it may wipe your device.
