Daiwa 43-inch, 55-inch 4K UHD TVs With webOS Launched in India

Daiwa has unveiled two new televisions in India with 43-inch and 55-inch screen sizes, expanding its webOS smart TV line-up in the country. Both smart TVs come with A+ grade DLED 4K UHD displays, HDR 10, MEMC, Quantum Luminit+, quad-core processor, and much more. The company says the televisions are completely made in India and its parent company, Videotex, recently became the first Indian brand to obtain the license to manufacture webOS TVs in the country.

Daiwa webOS TV Features, Specifications

Both the Daiwa 43″ (D43U1WOS) and 55″ (D55U1WOS) smart TVs come with bezel-less displays and a metallic build. The 4K UHD displays are capable of 400 nits peak brightness and 1.07 billion colours. The Quantum Luminit+ technology uses Daiwa’s AI learning to upscale your content to 4K resolution. It also comes equipped with a MEMC feature that boosts frame rates. For instance, it will add frames to videos that are 25fps or 30 fps and convert them to 60 fps for a blur-free and smooth viewing experience.

Furthermore, it also has a Cinema Mode calibrated to D6500 colour temperature for colour accuracy. That’s not all, gamers would be elated as the TVs offer ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) support for a better gaming experience. The smart TVs are powered by MediaTek’s CA55 quad-core processor and come equipped with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.

The Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV D43U1WOS and Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV D55U1WOS come with 20W surround sound box speakers coupled with Dolby Audio sound technology. ThinQ AI enhances the entertainment quotient through voice assistance, via Magic Remote or smartphone with the LG ThinQ App. It uses AI to learn user patterns and accordingly displays suggestions and recommendations for music, movies, and more. Moreover, it comes with Alexa built-in to control your TV hands-free. The TVs support all major streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Voot, UFC, Sony Liv, Disney+ Hotstar, Spotify, and more.

When it comes to connectivity, the TV sets come with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4Ghz/ 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI 2.0, 2 x USB 2.0, optical output, RF in, earphone in/out, AV in, and Ethernet port.

The Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV D43U1WOS with a 43-inch screen is priced at ₹34,999. The Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV D55U1WOS with a 55-inch screen retails for ₹49,999. Both models are up for grabs via Daiwa India’s website and via offline retail stores. The company is also offering a no-cost 3/6 months EMI option on its website.
