New Dell XPS 13 Laptop Launched With Sleek New Design, 12th Gen Intel CPU: Specs, Price

Dell has announced the new Dell XPS 13 laptop featuring Intel’s 12th-gen CPUs. The thin and light laptop sports fewer ports compared to its predecessor. Moreover, it is touted to be the thinnest and lightest 13-inch XPS laptop.

Dell XPS 13 Price

The Dell XPS 13 is available for purchase in the US and Canada. The version with Windows 11 starts at $999 (around ₹77,700). On the other hand, the one with Ubuntu 20.04 Developer Edition is priced at $949 (around ₹73,800). It is available in two colours—Sky and Umber.

Dell XPS 13 Features, Specifications

The Dell XPS 13 (9315) features a 13.4-inch display with two resolution choices—4K (2400×3840 pixels) with touch support and a Full-HD+ (1200×1920 pixels) with touch/non-touch options. When it comes to design, the laptop sports thin bezels and an aluminum finish. It has a backlit keyboard and a large trackpad. Additionally, it has an updated webcam equipped with Dell’s ExpressSign-In technology.

The laptop is powered by Intel’s 12th-gen Alder Lake-U processors, with i5-1230U or i7-1250U and Iris Xe graphics. Moreover, it supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage. The Dell XPS 3 has a 51Wh battery under the hood. Dell claims that the i5 model is capable of streaming Netflix continuously for up to 12 hours.

The Dell XPS 13 includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one Type-C port, and a micro-SD card slot. When it comes to connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth.

The XPS 13 is Dell’s thinnest and lightest XPS laptop. It is 13.9mm thick and it is lightweight at 1.17kg. To compare, its predecessor is 14.80 mm thick and weighs 1.19kg.
