Disney+ Hotstar has been video streaming all the matches of the Tata IPL 2022. Now, it has added a new audio-only feature, to let cricket lovers enjoy the playoff battles and the final match. You will get a ball-by-ball audio commentary during the match, similar to how people used to follow cricket on radio channels back in the day. Senior citizens and the visually impaired can enjoy the matches and cheer for their favourite teams this weekend.
It’s been a real treat to watch the 10 teams battle it out in the league stages of the Tata IPL 2022. It was so intense that teams till the number eighth position on the points table were in the playoffs race till the very end. Finally, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Supergiants, and Royal Challengers Bangalore made it to the playoffs with very low margins.
Disney+ Hotstar’s statement says, “By making the on-field action inclusive, through its pioneering technological innovations, Disney+ Hotstar aims to cater to under-served communities and the elderly. This will significantly increase their access to live sports so that every Indian household can partake in the excitement and fun of watching IPL.
