Huawei stated over a year ago that it will collaborate with Chinese EV manufacturer Arcfox to create a high-end EV that would be powered by Huawei’s HI (Huawei Inside) technology. It combines Huawei’s HiCar level-3 autonomous driving system with an interior smart display powered by HarmonyOS.
The Arcfox Alpha-S, which is now going into mass production in the Chinese market, is the first production vehicle featuring “Huawei Inside.” The electric vehicle’s autonomous driving system has 400 TOPs of processing power and is furnished with some industry-standard sensing equipment, including four surround-view cameras, three LiDAR sensors, six mmW radar sensors, and 12 ultrasonic sensors.

Now that the automobiles are being produced at full capacity, deliveries to the numerous eager buyers can start.
The car’s maximum power is 473kW (643ps), and its 655 Nm of torque allows it to reach 100kph in under 3.5 seconds. With a claimed range of 708km, the 800V battery charging can reach 187kW, allowing the car to charge from 30 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.
The car is available in two trims and starts at RMB 397,900 ($59,000 or ₹47,11,309). For that price, customers get only highway autonomous driving. The fully autonomous driving capable model starts at RMB 429,900 ($63,800 or ₹50,90,203).
