Fitbit, a health and wellness accessory brand owned by Google, had launched the Fitbit Luxe fitness tracker in India in April 2021. It is positioned as a premium fitness band and comes with a jewellery-like design and an AMOLED display. Now, the company has started pushing a new firmware update to the Luxe, which unlocks the AOD (Always On Display) feature, among other things.

You can also schedule the AoD feature for ‘Off Time’, as per your requirement. In addition to that, the update offers some additional watch face options to choose from and display during workouts. Other firmware changes also include SpO2 tracking while sleeping, increased font size for improved readability, and some bug fixes.
Fitbit Luxe Specifications, Features
The Fitbit Luxe offers continuous heart rate tracking and stores that data at 1-second intervals during activities and 5-seconds intervals during inactivity. Its ‘SmartTrack’ feature lets you choose from 20 exercise modes to get real-time stats during your workouts. It can even automatically recognize and record some of your exercises.
The fitness tracker is also swim-proof and water-resistant up to 50 meters. The band is compatible with Android and iOS devices. It can receive call alerts and notifications from other apps. The Fitbit Luxe is available in India with a silicone strap for ₹10,790, while the stainless steel option is priced at ₹17,890.
