Epic Games is bringing gyro-controls, which were already available for Android and Nintendo Switch, for the game to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
New gyro controls will add to your gaming experience by letting you control the camera in Fortnite by just turning your controller. The controls can be coupled with a traditional stick that is meant to improve precision and movement throughout the game. To top it all, Epic Games has added the flick stick option to let users quickly flick the camera in any direction.
The latest upgrade allows full customization of gyro controls to suit different gameplay requirements. There are two separate combat and building modes that allow users to enable gyro controls while aiming for scoped weapons and disable the controls when building. The new features will be helpful for both experienced players and beginners.
However, gyro aiming disables aim assist wherever gyro is active. The new update lets users jump to a game faster by taking them directly to the lobby. Gyro controls work both on DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers. Nintendo Switch users can use gyro with Joy-Con controllers or the Pro controller. Android users can use gyro with built-in mobile controls.
