Gigabyte has announced the G5 series of gaming laptops in India. This series comprises the Gigabyte G5 GD, the Gigabyte G5 MD, and the Gigabyte G5 KD models. The laptops are powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor.

The G5 GD comes with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 Laptop GPU, the G5 MD features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti 4GB GDDR6 Laptop GPU, and the G5 KD comes with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6 Laptop GPU. All three laptops support 16GB DDR4 RAM and come with a 512GB NVMe SSD.
The Gigabyte G5 laptop sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) IPS LCD screen which supports a refresh rate of 144Hz. The screen has a peak brightness of 300 nits and an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The keyboard features up to 15 pre-programmed backlit colours. The laptop has a Gaming Center that allows you to customise the gaming experience, with programmable macro keys. The G5 series laptops come with Windows 11 Home out of the box. Gigabyte is also offering a free one-year Microsoft Office 365 personal version for the G5 series laptops.
As for cooling, the G5 series laptops are equipped with Windforce cooling tech. When it comes to ports, the laptop includes one USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one HDMI 2.0, one mini DP 1.4, one audio combo jack, one Microphone jack, one SD Card Reader, one DC-in Jack, and one RJ-45 connector. They also support dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
The Gigabyte G5 MD and GD models come with a 48.96Wh battery with support for 150W charging. On the other hand, the G5 KD model supports 180W charging.
Gigabyte G5 Series Laptop: Price In India And Availability
The Gigabyte G5 series is available in a sole 16GB+512GB configuration. The G5 GD model is priced at ₹68,890, the MD model costs ₹71,890, and the KD model costs ₹83,890. All three laptop models can be purchased via Flipkart.
