Google Camera 8.6 Rolling Out To Google Pixel 6 Pro

A month after the previous update, Google is releasing version 8.6 of the Pixel Camera app, which brings a number of Material You improvements and Speech enhancements for older Pixel phones. Google has now begun rolling out the 8.6 updates to the Pixel 6 Pro.

Version 8.6.263.478604508.17 of Camera 8.6 is a small update available this afternoon for Pixel 6 Pro and older devices. Little has been changed in this new build in terms of changes; it is just a minor update done for more stability and bug fixes.

The Google Camera 8.7 release, which is currently only available on Pixel 7 series devices, is expected to bring about all the significant upgrades that are anticipated for Pixel 6 Pro and older devices. We might see the Google Camera 8.7 build roll out to older Pixel devices with the Android 13 QPR1 stable build sometime in December. The Google Lens shortcut, a new place for the Lock Folder, and several icon changes are what that 8.7 build will have.
