Google has finally launched the Google Chromecast with TV 4K in the Indian market. To recall, the Chromecast with Google TV was announced back in September 2020. Google’s latest streaming device features a compact design language and is also the first Chromecast device to come with a remote. It offers up to 4K output at up to 60 frames per second and also supports Dolby Vision content.

Google Chromecast With TV 4K Price In India And Availability

The Google Chromecast with Google TV 4K is priced at ₹6,399 and is already available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart in the country. It will soon be available for purchase through retail outlets as well. As a launch offer, buyers purchasing the device until September 15, 2022, will be eligible to get a surprise cashback coupon for the Big Billion Days Sale 2022.

The Google Chromecast costs $49.99 in the US which translates to about ₹4,000. In comparison, the Indian pricing for the device seems to be on the higher side.

Google Chromecast With TV 4K Specifications And Features

The Google Chromecast with Google TV is capable of delivering up to 4K content at up to 60 frames per second. It features Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10+ certifications and supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby Atmos audio.

Google’s latest media streaming device boots Android TV OS and offers a For You tab which provides users personalized suggestions based on subscriptions. It also allows users to add movies and shows to the Watchlist from their laptops and smartphones.

The Google Chromecast features a compact design and attaches to the TV using an HDMI port. It makes use of a Type-C port for power supply. It comes with a Bluetooth remote. The device has a dedicated Google Assistant button and features an integrated microphone as well. The remote also has dedicated buttons for YouTube and Netflix.

Google’s latest media streaming device is available only in the Snow White colour option in the country. It weighs 118 grams and measures 162 × 61 × 12.5mm. In terms of connectivity, it offers 2.5GHz/5GHz WiFi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth.
