Google unveiled the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro smartphones back in October 2021. Following the launch of the Pixel 6 series, many have been waiting for the launch of the Pixel 6a smartphone. Though the official launch date of the device is yet to be released by Google, we now have the possible specifications of the device coming in courtesy of a new leak by ShadowLeak. According to the information shared by the tipster, Google could unveil the Pixel 6a in Q2 2022. Let’s check out the rumoured specifications of the Pixel 6a:

According to the information tipped by ShadowLeak, the Google Pixel 6a will flaunt a 6.2-inch OLED display. The display panel is supposed to offer Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is rumoured to come with a Google Tensor GS101 processor. Furthermore, the smartphone might pack up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device might also have a base variant as well, which might come with 6GB of RAM.

In terms of imaging, the Pixel 6a is tipped to feature a 12MP main camera, which might include a Sony IMX363 sensor. The 12MP sensor might be accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide lens. On the front side, the handset is expected to flaunt an 8MP selfie camera (Sony IMX355 sensor). Dimensions-wise, the Pixel 6a is rumoured to measure around 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm. As for the software, this new handset might run Android 12 out of the box.
