Alongside the Pixel 7 series, Google also launched its maiden smartwatch, the Google Pixel Watch, yesterday. The Google Pixel Watch is a premium smartwatch from Google which comes with an AMOLED display and offers a host of interesting features such as 4G LTE connectivity support, an Emergency SOS feature, and deeper integration with Fitbit. The smartwatch is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9110 SoC and it runs WearOS 3.5. It also has an optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, accelerometer, Gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and 5ATM water resistance.

As for the pricing, the Bluetooth version is priced at $349.99 (roughly ₹28,750), while the LTE model costs $399.99 (roughly ₹32,870). The smartwatch is available for pre-order and it will go on sale starting October 13, 2022. Details about the Indian availability of the Pixel Watch are not known yet.
Google Pixel Watch Specifications, Features
The Google Pixel Watch is equipped with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display that has 1,000 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also offers an always-on feature and up 19 customizable watch faces. The smartwatch features a 41mm circular dial and has 5ATM water resistance. It also has a side button, which upon pressing shows the recently used apps.
As for the hardware, the Pixel Watch is powered by an Exynos 9110 SoC and Cortex M33 co-processor. It ships with 2GB of RAM and packs 32GB of eMMC internal storage. The smartwatch also has a host of features such as an optical heart rate sensor, compass, altimeter, blood oxygen sensor, multipurpose electrical sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and more.
As far as the rest of the key features are concerned, the Pixel Watch offers 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS, NFC, and Google Assistant support. Additionally, a fall detection feature is coming in winter. The device also has a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth and LTE calling.
The smartwatch packs a 294mAh battery, which is said to offer up to 24 hours of backup and fast charging support. The smartwatch can be charged using a magnetic charger.
