Hero Electric said this week that it has partnered with EVIFY, an electric vehicle logistics startup. The company will provide 1,000 electric scooters to EVIFY over the next two years as part of this partnership. The agreement is already in the works, and the first 50 units are already in production, with a delivery date of next month. To satisfy this request, Hero Electric will enhance manufacturing in the next months.
Additionally, the company will also be delivering 500 EVs to be deployed by EVIFY in multiple tier-2/3 3 cities by the year-end. “B2B partnerships will enable the EV industry to exchange and utilise partner expertise and strengths to work toward the Zero-Emission vision. Fostering this vision, we have partnered with EVIFY to support their vision of electrifying the last mile delivery segment,” Hero Electric CEO Sohinder Gill stated.
Hero Electric plans to roll out similar partnerships in the country in the following months. “We see massive potential in the ongoing EV revolution becoming a major factor in enabling the transformation of logistics solutions. This partnership will help us reimagine the EV logistics landscape in India,” EVIFY CEO Devrishi Arora said.

This is not the first time the company has formed such a partnership. Hero Electric recently teamed up with Even Cargo, an all-women delivery network, to increase last-mile deliveries. As per the partnership, Hero Electric will assist Even Cargo in developing India’s first all-female delivery fleet. Over the next three years, the two-wheeler behemoth will introduce over 10,000 female riders to the platform. The electric scooter fleet will be available in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
