Honor Pad 8 With 12.5-inch Display, Snapdragon 680 Processor Launched In India: Price, Specifications

Honor teased the launch of the Honor Pad 8 for the Indian market a few days back. Today, without any ado, the brand has officially launched the Honor Tab 8 in India. The Honor Pad 8 was first launched by Honor in the Chinese market back in July.

Speaking about the specifications, the newly launched tablet from Honor comes with a 12-inch 2K LCD display. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor which is accompanied by 6GB of RAM. Furthermore, the tablet has a sleek 6.9mm metal body design, eight speakers, Histen audio tuning algorithm, and DTS:X-Ultra sound.

Honor Pad 8 Price In India, Availability

The Honor Pad 8 comes in single Blue Hour colourway. The base Honor Pad 8 model which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage has been introduced for ₹19,999. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be available for ₹21,999 for a limited period. The tablet will go on sale in India starting from September 23, 2022 through Flipkart.

Honor Pad 8 Specifications, Features

The Honor Pad 8 flaunts a 12-inch display that has a 2000 × 1200 pixels resolution. The display panel has TUV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification and 350 nits brightness.

Under the hood, the tablet is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor. The System on Chip consists of 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the device runs Android 12 out of the box with Magic UI 6.1 on top.

When it comes to imaging, the Honor Pad 8 features a 5MP camera, both at the front and back. Furthermore, the tablet has eight speakers, HONOR Histen sound, and DTS:X Ultra sound support.

Connectivity-wise, the tablet offers features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port. The tablet packs a 7,250mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.
