Honor Tablet 8 With 12-inch 2K Display, Snapdragon 680 SoC Launched In China: Pricing, Specs

Honor has launched a new tablet, dubbed the Honor Tablet 8, in China today. The new tablet comes as a successor to the Honor V7, which was launched back in 2021. The new Honor Tablet 8 features a 12-inch LCD panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, and a 7,250mAh battery, among other features. Let us take a closer look at the pricing, features, and specifications of the newly introduced Honor Tablet 8.

Honor Tablet 8 Pricing, Availability

The Honor Tablet 8 pricing starts at 1,499 yuan (around ₹17,732) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 6GB+128GB storage model is priced at 1,799 yuan (around ₹21,200), while the top-end variant of the device with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage can be bought for 1,999 yuan (around ₹23,500).

The Honor Tablet 8 is now available for pre-order in the Chinese market. As part of the pre-sale offer, buyers can get the base model of the new tablet for a discounted price of 1,399 yuan (around ₹16,500). The Honor Tablet 8 comes in three colour options—Mint Green, Dawn Blue, and Dawn Gold.

Honor Tablet 8 Features, Specifications

The Honor Tablet 8 features a 12-inch 2K LCD panel that offers 2,000×1,200 pixel resolution, 10:6 aspect ratio, and 1.07 billion colours. Powering the tablet is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Honor Tablet 8 boots Magic UI 6.1 out of the box.

In the camera department, the tablet gets a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling. As for the battery, the Honor Tablet 8 is backed by a 7,250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.

The new Honor Tablet 8 also comes with Rheinland hardware-level low blue light, Rheinland no flicker, and eye protection certification from the National Eye Engineering Center. It also comes equipped with Huawei’s Histen sound effects as well as DTS:X Ultrasound for a better sound experience.
