The simplest way to clean a microwave is to spray some liquid soap water inside and thoroughly clean it with a cloth to ensure all food particles are removed. For stubborn stains, spray the liquid, let it sit for five minutes and then wipe it clean.
Step 2
Mix a cup of white vinegar (or baking soda) with water in a microwave-safe bowl, add a few slices of lemon and place the bowl in the microwave. Turn on the microwave and run on high for over 2 minutes, until the water fully comes to a boil. Let the bowl stay in for 15 minutes before you open the microwave door. This will completely absorb the odour.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 & 2 every two weeks. Ensure that spills or food stains are cleaned immediately to avoid any unpleasant smell in the microwave. With a little care, your microwave can stay clean and deodorized.
Tips
-> Allow the microwave to dry after cleaning before you close the door
-> Do not place any metal in the microwave, as it can easily catch fire
To keep your microwave running for longer, make sure you buy the Onsitego Extended Warranty plan within 6 months from the purchase date of your microwave. The plan covers all the defects and malfunctions covered in a standard manufacturer’s warranty for up to 2 years. It starts as soon as the manufacturer’s warranty ends.
