HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop With Intel’s 12th Gen, AMD Ryzen 5000H CPUs Launched: Price

HP has upgraded its entry-level gaming laptop, the Victus 15. Major upgrades include choices of Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake-H or AMD Ryzen 5000H processors. The HP Victus 15 comes with discrete graphics, IPS displays, high screen refresh rate, full-size keyboards with backlight, and more. The new HP Victus 15 offers improved thermals owing to 7 percent better airflow, 24 percent rear outlet open ratio, and a 146 percent improved inlet vent design.      

HP Victus 15: Features, Specifications

The HP Victus 15 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel with 250 nits brightness and 144Hz refresh rate. Intel fans would be able to get the new HP Victus 15 with options of Intel’s 12th Gen Core i5-12500H or Core i7-12700H processors. The Intel variants are coupled with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM.  The laptop also comes with options of AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 7 5800H processors coupled with Radeon RX 6500M GPU. 

The gaming notebook is equipped with dual-channel 8GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, which is upgradeable to 16GB. The laptop comes with 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. All variants of the HP Victus 15 feature full-function keyboards with large touchpads and Omen Gaming Hub key.

For video calling, it gets an HD camera with temporal noise reduction. Connectivity features include one SuperSpeed USB Type-C 5Gbps, two SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps, one RJ-45 port, one HDMI 2.1 port, 2×2 Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. 

The HP Victus 15 Intel versions are powered by a 4-cell 70Wh battery, which is reported to deliver up to nine hours of video playback. The AMD versions get a 3-cell 52.5Wh battery pack, which despite the smaller capacity can offer up to 11.5 hours of video playback. 

HP Victus 15: Price, Availability

The HP Victus 15 comes at a starting price of $799.99 (approx. ₹62,000). It will go on sale in the US in a few weeks. The laptop comes in Mica Silver, Ceramic White, and Performance Blue colourways.
