HTC Wildfire E Plus With 6.52-inch Display, Android 12 Go Edition Announced

HTC has been releasing low-priced new smartphones in its Wildfire series for a long time. The latest entrant in this new series is the HTC Wildfire E Plus. This new smartphone has been unveiled by HTC in the Russian market. When it comes to the specifications, the HTC Wildfire E Plus has a 6.52-inch display that offers HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s quad-core chipset which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device packs a 5,150mAh battery which offers 10W charging support.

HTC Wildfire E Plus Pricing, Availability

The HTC Wildfire E Plus is priced at RUB 7,990 (roughly ₹10,800). The device comes in a sole 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage configuration. The handset is available for purchase in a black variant. As of now, it’s unclear if the Taiwanese smartphone maker has any plans to release this new device in other markets outside Russia.

HTC Wildfire E Plus Specifications, Features

The HTC Wildfire E Plus features a 6.52-inch display that has HD+ 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display panel has a water-drop-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. Under the hood, this latest entry-level smartphone packs MediaTek’s quad-core 1.5GHz MT6739 processor. The device ships with 2GB of RAM and packs 32GB of internal storage. As for the software, the device runs Android 12 (Go Edition) out of the box.

When it comes to imaging, the device features a dual-camera setup. The handset boasts a 13MP main camera and a 5MP macro sensor at the back. The front of the device is fitted with a 5MP lens, which can be used to capture selfies and make video calls. Furthermore, the smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support.

As for connectivity, the device has features such as a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device packs a 5,150mAh battery which supports 10W charging. The smartphone measures 164.1 x 75.9 x 8.8mm and weighs 190 grams.
