iFFalcon Launches Android TVBased 55-inch K72 4K LCD TV For ₹51,999

TCL’s spin-off brand iFFalcon has introduced its K72 55-inch smart TV in India. While most companies highlight the picture quality of their panel, TCL is keen on pushing its TVs’ ability to make video calls. The company believes that connecting with your team over a TV spares you from the hassle of squinting into a mobile or laptop’s screen. It has all the features that are found on most TVs these days, including the Android TV OS, HDR, stereo speakers, and a whole host of apps for video streaming.

iFFalcon 55-inch K72 Features

The TV features a 55-inch LCD panel with LED backlighting. It has pixel dimensions of 3840 x 2160, also commonly known as 4K resolution. The panel has a peak brightness of 300 nits and a refresh rate of 60Hz. iFFalcon claims that the onboard MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) tech delivers “super-smooth visuals”. However, in reality, most viewers express aversion to this feature since it causes the notorious soap opera effect.

To power the smart bits, the TV is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Based on the Android TV platform, the TV supports popular apps such as Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix, Voot, YouTube, Zee5, and more. The TV has a thin bezel design with a webcam at the top. The television houses two speakers with a total output of 24W.
