Infinix has now launched its first handset under the Hot 12 series in the Indian market—the Infinix Hot 12 Play. The latest Infinix smartphone is an entry-level device that comes with the latest features, such as a full-screen display and a multi-camera setup. The all-new Hot 12 Play features a UniSoC processor and is powered by a 6,000mAh battery.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play price in India is ₹8,499 for the 4GB + 64GB configuration variant. The handset will be available for purchase in India starting May 30 exclusively via Flipkart.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play flaunts a 6.82-inch TFT display with an HD+ (720 × 1,640 pixel) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel supports 480 nits peak brightness and houses the front shooter inside a punch hole notch.

The system on chip brings with it 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The handset also supports 3GB of Virtual RAM and boots XOS 10, based on Android 11.
The all-new Hot 12 Play offers a dual rear camera setup including a 13MP primary sensor with an F1.8 aperture. Accompanying it is a depth sensor of unknown resolution and a quad-LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the Hot 12 Play relies on an 8MP shooter and an LED flash.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 6,000mAh battery unit and 10W fast charging support. It offers a Type-C charging port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Infinix Hot 12 Play comes in three colour options—Daylight Green, Horizon Blue, and Racing Black. It weighs 209 grams and measures 171 × 78 × 8.9mm. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual-SIM, 4G, WiFI 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and OTG.
