Infinix has added two new Note 12 series smartphones to its portfolio in India. The brand has partnered with Marvel Studios for its new Note 12 Turbo and the standard Note 12. These smartphones will be packaged in a special box with a Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness movie theme. The Infinix Note 12 series come with large AMOLED displays, high touch sampling rate, a choice of two MediaTek Helio chipsets, triple cameras, and fast charging, among other features.

The display is protected by a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. One major drawback in the display department is the use of a waterdrop notch in 2022, which is quite strange. The devices come with Widevine L1 support to stream content in high resolution on OTT platforms.
The Infinix Note 12 Turbo is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, while the vanilla Infinix Note 12 comes with a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. The Infinix Note 12 Turbo is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, whereas the standard Note 12 comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
In the photography department, both handsets boast of triple-camera setups comprising a 50MP primary shooter with an f/1.6 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth and an AI lens. Selfie duties are handled by a 16MP selfie snapper at the front.
Some noteworthy features of the handsets include stereo speakers with DTS sound, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, MediaTek’s Hyper Engine 2.0, and a USB Type-C port, among others. Both smartphones are powered by a 5000mAh battery, which comes with a 33W fast charging support. The devices run on XOS 10.6 based on Android 11 out of the box, which will be updated to Android 12 in August 2022.

The Infinix Note 12 Turbo comes with a price tag of ₹14,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The Note 12 is priced at ₹11,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and ₹12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant. The Note 12 Turbo will go on sale on May 27, 2022. The Note 12 can be purchased from May 28, 2022 via Flipkart. The smartphones come in Force Black and SnowFall colour options.
