Infinix Smart 6 With 6.6-inch Display, Antibacterial Coating Arriving Soon In India: Specifications

Infinix is gearing up to launch its budget smartphone, the Smart 6, in the Indian market. The Infinix Smart 6 will be a successor to the Smart 5 and will run on the Android 11 Go Edition operating system. The handset will pack in a large display, Unisoc chipset, dual cameras, and fingerprint sensor, among other features. It is touted to be the first smartphone in the category to be equipped with 64GB of internal storage. 

Infinix Smart 6: Features, Specifications

The Infinix Smart 6 sports a large 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Being a budget smartphone, it will come with a waterdrop style display notch. The bezels are slightly thick and the display is claimed to have an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. At the rear, it comes with a reflective pattern and an iPhone-esque camera island. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear of the phone.

According to a report, the Infinix Smart 6 will be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset coupled with an IMG8322 GPU. The device will come equipped with a paltry 2GB of RAM, which should be enough for running the Android Go OS. If the need arises, you can expand the RAM by up to 2GB via the virtual RAM feature. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by 512GB via the microSD card slot.  

For photography, there’s a 13MP primary camera which is accompanied by a secondary AI sensor and a dual-LED flash. Selfie duties are handled by a 5MP front-facing shooter, which also gets a face unlock feature. 

Some noteworthy features include 4G VoLTE, a dedicated microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, DTS HD surround sound, and a micro USB port, among others. The handset packs in a 5,000mAH battery coupled with 10-watt charging support. 

Infinix Smart 6: Availability

Flipkart has started teasing the Infinix Smart 6, and it will be exclusively available on its portal from April 27, 2022. Infinix says the Smart 6 will come with a never-seen-before price tag.
