Infinix is gearing up to launch its new Smart 6 Plus smartphone in the Indian market. The device will come as an upgrade over the Infinix Smart 6, which was introduced back in April 2022 in India. The smartphone’s landing page is now live on Flipkart, which reveals its design and some key aspects. According to the listing, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus will debut in India on July 29, 2022.
Infinix Smart 6 Plus: Specifications, Features
Going by the teaser image shared by Flipkart, the smartphone comes with flat sides and an industrial design. At the rear, the rectangular camera island houses the dual cameras and the LED flash. Its body will be made entirely of polycarbonate. The focus on providing a big screen is evident in the teaser image. It gets a dreadful waterdrop on the top of the display and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which makes it look like a device from 2018.
The Infinix Smart 6 Plus is confirmed to sport a large 6.82-inch LCD with HD+ display resolution. The previously launched Infinix Smart 6 packs in a MediaTek Helio A22 processor coupled with a PowerVR GPU. So, the Infinix Smart Plus can be expected to be powered by the same chipset, if not better. In terms of memory, it is confirmed to be equipped with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. It gets a virtual RAM expansion feature, which can give you an additional 3GB of RAM.

The selfie camera will be housed in the waterdrop notch at the front and is likely to be a 5MP sensor.
The Infinix Smart 6 Plus is confirmed to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood. However, the brand hasn’t revealed its charging specification. Expect it to pack in a faster charger when compared to the vanilla Infinix Smart 6’s 10W charger. The smartphone will run on XOS skin on top of the Android 11 Go Edition.
