Infinix will be launching the ZERO ULTRA, part of its flagship Zero lineup, globally on October 5. The company will be hosting an event at the Royal Museums Greenwich, inviting people for a whole new world of inspirational content.
While the launch invite does not include any details about the upcoming smartphone, an online listing does give us a good peek into the smartphone’s capabilities, and we have cause for excitement. This is going to be a monstrous offering.
Infinix Zero Ultra Specifications and Features
The online listing of the Infinix Zero Ultra reveals a 6.8-inch full HD+ OLED display with waterfall curves and 120 Hz refresh rate. This is also going to be Infinix’s first attempt at offering a 200 MP camera with f/1.97 aperture. Another cap in the smartphone’s feather, is support for 180W fast charging that was introduced back in June.
The smartphone has been confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The online listing also reveals the rear panel design. It houses a triple camera stack with an LED flash, and a ceramic white finish. The waterfall curved display on the front has a tiny cutout for the selfie camera, specs of which are still unconfirmed.
The Infinix Zero Ultra is shaping to be quite the dark horse in this year’s competition for smartphones with outrageous specifications, and there are already quite a few contenders to beat.
Samsung unveiled the 200MP ISOCELL H1 camera sensor in September 2021 with dynamic pixel binning that can adjust output resolution depending on ambient light for optimum results. The Moto X30 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to use the camera sensor. The camera is also expected to be present in next year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup, potentially in the top of the line Galaxy S23 Ultra variant.
