iQOO Neo 5S and iQOO Neo 5 SE Launched: Specifications, Features, and Price

iQOO has launched a couple of new Neo 5 series handsets—the iQOO Neo 5S and iQOO Neo 5 SE in China. The latest Neo 5 series handsets are powered by Snapdragon 8-series processors and up to 12GB of RAM. These devices also offer high refresh rate displays, high-resolution camera sensors, and 4,500mAh battery units. Let us take a closer look at iQOO Neo 5S and iQOO Neo 5 SE specifications, features, and price.

iQOO Neo 5S Specifications and Features

The Neo 5S flaunts a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2,400 × 1,080 pixel) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel on the handset can go as high as 1,300nits in certain scenarios and comes with HDR10+ certification.

Under the hood, the Neo 5S sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that is built on a 5nm fabrication process. The system on chip packs an Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset comes preloaded with Android 11-based OriginOS Ocean.

The Neo 5S features a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the handset is a 48MP IMX598 sensor with f/1.79 aperture and OIS support. Accompanying it is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120° field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Whereas, the third sensor is a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the Neo 5s offers a 16MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Neo 5S is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and 66W flash charge support. It offers a Type-C charging port, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup. However, the device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack and so the audio is routed through the Type-C port only. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.

The Neo 5S comes in light orange, night scape, and sunset canyon colour variants. It weighs 197grams and measures 163.22 × 76.4 x 8.39mm. The handset will go on sale starting December 24th in China. Check out the variant wise pricing below:

iQOO Neo 5 SE Specifications and Features

The Neo 5 SE features a 6.67-inch LED display with a Full HD+ (2,400×1,080 pixel) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 144Hz refresh rate. The display panel is HDR10+ certified and supports up to 650nits brightness.

The Neo 5 SE is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile processor which is fabbed on a 7nm process. The graphics duties on the device are handled by an integrated Adreno 650 GPU. It comes paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It boots OriginOS Ocean based on Android 11.

The primary shooter on the device is a 50MP sensor with f/1.79 aperture that is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120° field of view and f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture on the smartphone. The Neo 5 SE offers a 16MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The Neo 5 SE is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and 55W flash charge support. It also offers a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a stereo speaker setup. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.

The Neo 5 SE comes in crystal white, shadow blue, and phantom colour variants. It measures 164.70 × 76.68 x 8.53mm and weighs 189grams. It will be available for purchase starting December 28th in China. Check out the variant wise pricing below:
