iQOO Neo 6 5G Confirmed To Launch On May 31 In India: Specifications

Last week, we brought you an exclusive report of the iQOO Neo 6 for the Indian market and its launch date. Now, Amazon has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 6 5G will be launching on May 31 2022, as seen in the notification below. However, the product page of the iQOO Neo 6 5G on Amazon still reads “Coming Soon”.

The Neo 6 was launched in China in April 2022. According to multiple reports, it will finally reach the Indian market, albeit with different internals. Let’s have a look at the Chinese version of iQOO Neo 6 below, which should give you a fair idea about the smartphone. 

iQOO Neo 6 5G: Specifications (China)

The iQOO Neo 6 5G sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz screen refresh rate, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The device is equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. 

In terms of the camera, the Neo 6 comes with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, PDAF, and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). It is accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. 

Other notable features include 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6,  Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and USB 2.0 Type-C port, among others. It is powered by a 4,700mAh battery under the hood, coupled with 80-watt fast charging support. 

Tipster Mukul Sharma suggests that the iQOO Neo 6 5G price could range between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000 in India. iQOO will also launch its iQOO Neo 6 SE, which will be a watered-down variant, later in June 2022.
