After launching the iQOO Neo 5S and Neo 5 SE, iQOO has now introduced a new U-series smartphone dubbed as the iQOO U5 5G. This new offering from iQOO comes with a 6.58-inch OLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. The base iQOO U5 5G model packs 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, while the other two variants ship with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. iQOO is yet to reveal the official pricing of the device. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders in China from December 24 this year.

The iQOO U5 5G features a 6.58-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front of the device includes a water-drop notch that accommodates the selfie camera. The smartphone comes powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor which is accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the iQOO U5 5G runs Android 11 out of the box with iQOO UI 1.0.
On the rear side of the handset is a dual-camera setup. The camera module incorporates a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro camera. The front of the smartphone includes an 8MP selfie camera. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that has an18W fast charging support.
When it comes to security, the handset also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone has several connectivity features like 4G LTE, dual-SIM card support, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The device measures 164 × 75.84 × 8.25mm and weighs 185grams. The handset also has microSD card support for further storage expansion.
