JBL has finally introduced its truly wireless earphones, the JBL Tune 230NC and JBL 130NC, in India. These earbuds were launched in the international markets back in 2021. The wireless earphones pack in ANC, 4-mic technology, IPX4 splash resistance, voice assistance, and up to 40 hours of battery life, among other features.

It sports 6mm drivers coupled with JBL’s Pure Bass Sound, promising superior bass effect. The earbuds get ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) which utilises two of its four microphones to reduce ambient noises. The Ambient Aware feature allows ambient sounds to pass through. Furthermore, it comes with Bluetooth v5.2 coupled with Google’s Fast Pair. They support A2DP 1.3, AVRCP 1.6, and HFP 1.7 audio profiles.
The JBL Tune 230NC can last for up to eight hours and up to 32 hours combined with the charging case when the ANC is on. With the ANC off, the battery backup goes up to 10 hours and up to a total of 40 hours when combined with the case. The earbuds also support fast charge, which can provide up to two hours of playtime with just 10 minutes of charging. Other noteworthy features include IPX4 splash resistance, touch controls, Google Assistant, and Alexa support.

The JBL Tune 130NC gets an in-ear and a non-stem design. They sport larger 10mm drivers that promise to deliver a punchy bass. The earbuds are equipped with four microphones for a crystal clear voice during calls. The ANC feature helps to cut out the ambient noises of your surroundings.
The JBL Tune 130NC earphones come with Bluetooth v5.2 for a reliable connection. They support A2DP 1.3, AVRCP 1.6, and HFP 1.7 audio profiles. With the ANC on, you can get up to eight hours of battery backup and a total of 32 hours when combined with the charging case. With the ANC feature off, you can expect around 10 hours and a total of 40 hours when combined with the case. Some notable features include Fast Pair by Google, built-in Google Assistant and Alexa support, Ambient Awake, Talk Thru, touch controls, and IPX4 sweat/splash resistance, among others.
JBL Tune 230NC, JBL Tune 130NC: Price, Availability
The JBL Tune 230NC and Tune 130NC TWS earphones will be available at an introductory price of ₹5,499 and ₹4,599 respectively. They can be purchased via JBL India’s website, Harman brand outlets, and other major online and offline stores. They come in black, blue, and white colourways.
