Jio ₹499 Prepaid Plan With 1-Year Disney+ Hotstar Subscription Revived

Back in November, Reliance Jio hiked the price of its prepaid plans by almost 20-25 percent. A few days after the price hike, Jio also increased the price of the prepaid plans available for JioPhone. Additionally, the company revised the price of the prepaid plans which come bundled with a Disney+ Hotstar subscription. Back in December, the telco increased the price of the ₹499 Disney+ Hotstar plan to ₹601. Now, in a recent development, Jio has revised the price of the ₹601 plan again to ₹499. Jio ₹499 Prepaid Plan Benefits, Validity

Reliance Jio’s ₹499 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 28 days. Furthermore, the plan offers unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and a 2GB high-speed data limit. Once the data limit is exhausted, users will get only 64kbps of speed. The USP of this plan is that it also offers a free Disney+ Hotstar subscription for one year. Along with the unlimited voice calls benefits and one year free Disney+ Hotstar subscription, the plan also includes a regular subscription of Jio apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud. The ₹499 Jio prepaid plan is listed on MyJio app as well.

The ₹499 plan was first introduced by Jio back in August 2021. The same plan was revised to ₹601. The telco had increased the price of many of its Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions back in December. The company hiked the price of its ₹666 plan to ₹799. The ₹799 plan offers a one-year free Disney+ Hotstar subscription, unlimited voice calls, 2GB of data per day, and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the ₹799 plan is set to 56 days. Apart from increasing the price of the ₹499 and ₹666 plan, Jio also hiked the price of the ₹888 and ₹2,599 plans. The price of both these plans was revised to ₹1,066 and ₹3,119, respectively.

Under the ₹1,066 plan, users get benefits such as unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, 2GB of data per day, Jio apps and services, and an additional 5GB of data. The plan also offers one year of free Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. The validity of the ₹1,066 Jio plan has been set to 84 days. On the other hand, the ₹3,199 plan offers a one-year free Disney+ Hotstar subscription, 2GB of data per day, 10GB of additional data, unlimited voice calling, Jio apps, and 100 SMS messages per day.
