In the EV space, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp teamed up to form a fuel and mobility joint venture called Jio-bp. The JV has now joined hands with Omaxe, one of India’s largest real estate developers, to provide EV charging and swapping infrastructure at their properties.
In accordance with the agreement, Jio-bp would gradually install EV charging and swapping infrastructure at Omaxe sites in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar, Jaipur, Sonipat, and Bahadurgarh over the course of this year and beyond.

Jio-bp pulse is the brand name for Jio-electric bp’s vehicle charging and swapping stations. Jio-bp also stated that it is establishing a charging ecosystem that will benefit all stakeholders in the EV value chain, with the goal of becoming one of India’s largest EV networks.
This isn’t all, Jio-bp recently stated that it is partnering with TVS Motor Company to build a comprehensive public EV charging infrastructure for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers throughout the country, which will be constructed on Jio-bp’s network.
