OnePlus Launches Their Largest OnePlus Experience Store Globally In India

OnePlus, one of the fastest-growing premium smartphone manufacturers, has announced the opening of its largest Experience Store in the world in India. The store has come up in Bengaluru, a city known as the Silicon Valley of India and from where OnePlus started its India journey back in 2014. The store, named “OnePlus Boulevard”, spans over 39,000 sq. ft. and will serve as a landmark venue for its Indian community to gain a global premium user experience and connect with the brand in a more intimate way.

OnePlus Experience Store Virtual Launch

The brand did a virtual launch for its Experience Store, wherein viewers and OnePlus community members were given an extensive digital tour of the state-of-the-art establishment. This comes after OnePlus announced an investment of ₹100 crores towards offline expansion in India in late 2020. The brand also says that it has rapidly scaled its offline retail operations over the years and looks to operate 15,000+ offline stores, including partnered stores, by the end of the year.

From the brief virtual tour of the property, it was clear from the get-go that OnePlus took inspiration from Apple, seeing how their new-age retail stores have open floor plans with community exclusive sections, experience zones, and are commissioned prime real estate in the cities. The OnePlus Boulevard will also feature the signature coffee experience zone, a special unboxing zone, and a dedicated customer service centre.

Addressing the launch of the new OnePlus Boulevard, Navnit Nakra, India CEO and Head of India Region, OnePlus India, said:

Right from the start of our India journey in 2014, our community in India has always received our products very positively. The India community has played a significant role in our brand’s growth and continues to do so. Owing to this, we believe that India region would make for the perfect venue to house our largest OnePlus Experience Store, called the “OnePlus Boulevard”.

The OnePlus Boulevard will not only serve as a landmark retail space but will also be a dedicated community hub for our community members and customers to connect with the brand directly and cultivate a deeper bond. OnePlus’ journey in India began right here, in our country’s biggest tech hub, Bengaluru. And we are excited to bring our largest OnePlus Experience Store in the world to our India community here.
