Lava has launched the new X-series smartphone dubbed the Lava X2 in India today. This latest X-series smartphone will be an online-exclusive offering from the company. According to the brand, the Lava X2 is the first smartphone in the X-series, and it has been designed to cater need of budget buyers.
When it comes to specifications, the X2 boasts of a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The handset is equipped with MediaTek’s SoC. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery and has features such as fingerprint scanner and a face unlock support.

The Lava X2 comes in a single 2GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration. The handset is available at a discounted price of ₹6,599 on Amazon till March 11. It will be also available at the Lava e-store. The Lava X2 comes in blue and cyan colourways.

The device has a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display. Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s unspecified octa-core processor. The SoC includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup which includes a 8MP primary camera. Selfies and video-calls will be handled by a 5MP front camera. Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery.
The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face unlock support for security. As for connectivity, the handset has a dual-SIM card slot, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5 mm audio jack, OTG support, and a USB Type-C charging port. The smartphone measures 165x76x9mm, and weighs 192 grams.
