Lenovo has introduced the IdeaPad 5i Chromebook at IFA 2022, which saw a multitude of new products. The IdeaPad 5i is Lenovo’s first-ever 16-inch ChromeOS device. Let’s have a look at what the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook has on offer.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook price starts at €549 (roughly ₹43,782) for the base model. It will be available for purchase from September in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook sports a 16-inch LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The top-end model sports a 2.5K resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate, 350 nits of peak brightness, and 100% sRGB. Meanwhile, the base model features a standard 1920×1200 resolution display with a refresh rate of 60Hz.

The IdeaPad 5i Chromebook is equipped with a 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U or Pentium 8505 processor. It is accompanied by 4GB/8GB RAM options, and up to 512GB of storage. The laptop comes with a full numpad as well as a large trackpad.

Furthermore, the device has a 1080p camera with privacy shutter and two 2W stereo speakers. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0. As for the ports, the laptop has two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a microSD card reader, a Kensington Nano slot, and a headphone jack. Lenovo claims that the device offers up to 12 hours of battery life.
